Tamar Ridge Kayena Vineyard Pinot Noir 2010

The 2010 Tamar Ridge Kayena Vineyard Pinot Noir is another very sophisticated wine. In the bouquet there is the right sort of subdued dark fruit aroma  oupled with spicy cigar box oak. The palate is nicely firm with poised acid/tannin combination and there is sufficient fruit sweetness to keep it balanced. The pristine condition of this wine, which is a hallmark of senior winemaker Tom Ravech’s wine handling, will ensure a good life for this wine and will handsomely repay five years cellaring.
