the middle palate is building savoury richness and complexity, balancing the tannins which, while still firm and dry, are starting to soften. The finish is perhaps a little longer than last year.
At this point in "Sigma's" development, decanting is a personal preference and may depend on the conditions in which the wine has been stored.
