The intention is to produce a wine which has youthful fruit intensity and great perfume but with the structure to age over a decade or more, thus allowing time, rather than winemaker intervention, to develop the exciting, gamey complexities. The palate is linear and tight with fine acidity. Oak balances some sweet, dark chocolate, plum and cherry flavours which open strongly after a while in glass indicating good cellaring potential: 5-8 years. Availability
