The Research Series has been developed to showcase new directions in viticulture and winemaking. These developments can include wines made from new varieties or clones, fruit sourced from new vineyard sites or wines that have been made using new techniques and methods. All will be strictly limited in quantity and availability and will present something different and exciting in the world of wine. Variety & Vineyard - Savagnin is a little known French variety found mainly in the Jura region of Eastern France. It is used predominantly to produce the acclaimed vin jaune, a sherry-like wine known for its longevity. Blended with chardonnay it also forms a major component of other Jura wines such as Côtes de Jura Blanc and L’Etoile. Quantity Made 122 doz.
