Quite a perfumed style with abundant red berry fruit and some cassis. There are spicy/nutmeg aromas and a hint of cigar box giving complexity. This is a medium weight style with initial up-front sweet cassis fruit flavours that flow through to fill the mid-palate. Fine tannins with gentle astringency give length to the palate.  2005 Cabernet Merlot
